Tim works closely with individuals and families in connection with all aspects of estate planning, probate and trust administration. These services include preparation of wills, living trusts, powers of attorney, irrevocable life insurance trusts, qualified personal residence trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts, charitable trusts, generation-skipping or “dynasty” trusts, and a variety of other sophisticated estate planning techniques. Tim also has extensive experience in the areas of probate and trust administration, including the preparation of estate tax returns.

Tim also works with business owners and other individuals in the areas of corporate and business law, including business succession planning, entity formation, buy-sell agreements, business contracts and mergers and acquisitions, as well as in the areas of real estate and taxation.

Tim was nominated by his peers and selected as a member of Business Street’s "40 Under 40” Class of 2009.  Tim was also selected as a Super Lawyers’ “Rising Star” for Northern California for his work in Estate Planning/Probate in 2012.  This designation is awarded to only the top five percent of attorneys in Northern California.
